Frontiers in Sustainability releases controversial videos on the topics five of Individual Sustainability (physical, intellectual, philosophical, social, and emotional). These videos challenge the typical idea that “sustainability” is simply limited to environmental sustainability while also challenging the audience to grow in ways that are not generally taught and practiced in the usual educational setting. In order to be on the frontier of what it means to be a sustainable person, Dr. Eric Pappas and Kat McDearis create these videos as educational materials that are often used in his ISAT 160 and ISAT 480 classes at James Madison University. Additionally, this research and production is funded by a National Science Foundation grant.
